Once cleaned, rugs should dry laid out with airflow on both sides where possible. The crew will suggest propping a corner up or leaving the rug off the floor for a few hours. Viscose rugs in particular can brown if they stay wet, so a slow, gentle dry is better than rushing. Putting furniture back too early can leave marks on damp fibre, so wait until it is dry right through.
